Día 2: Momento Histórico.
Un beso histórico en algún bar del zócalo en los años 50
Ehhhhh pues…. ¿Qué digo? La neta soy muy torpe al momento de investigar un verdadero momento histórico, así que… Aproveché en plasmar una idea que tuve hace mucho rato, totalmente inspirado (basado no, porque no tiene que ver ahre) en una escena de una película mexicana “Yo quiero ser Hombre” Bueno, ya se imaginarían cómo era en esa época, en que las relaciones homosexuales eran muy mal vistas, sobre todo en el cine Mexicano (No sé si en otro país también haya sido similar, me gustaría saber(?))
Me divirtió mucho cuando la vi así que… eso, chao
Promptatón Día 2: Día Histórico
El primero, más que un día histórico, es un momento histórico: ¡la franja del NO para el plebiscito de 1988 en Chile! En este plebiscito los chilenos determinaron si querían que Augusto Pinochet siguiera en el poder o que, en cambio, se iniciara un proceso transitorio hacia la democracia (para poder alcanzar posteriormente una democracia plena). Es por esto que se realizaron campañas para las dos posiciones políticas, existiendo así la franja del SI (que siga Pinochet) y la franja del NO (que no siga Pinochet), las que se transmitieron hasta la realización de los comicios. En el primer dibujo, José Manuel aparece como uno de los chicos alegres de la franja del NO ( Video de la franja del NO: link)
Luego, en la segunda imagen es el día histórico en si. El 5 de octubre se realizo el plebiscito. Existía mucho miedo porque habían rumores de boicot al plebiscito o de persecución, sin embargo, la participación alcanzo uno de los niveles más altos en la historia del país. Finalmente, con un 54,7%, ganó el NO y se inició un proceso de transición a la democracia pactada entre las fuerzas políticas del país.
Hay muchas cosas pendientes aún, pero es indudable que este ha sido uno de los momentos más relevantes en la historia contemporánea del país 🙂

The HWD Official Blog is the Tumblr account for the Discord server we run – the Hetalia Writers’ Discord, a growing community of over 100 active writers! I don’t get why people hate immigrants so much… Like they’re literally just… People… From another location….
My partner is an immigrant from the UK and still holds his citizenship. At a recent event, an acquaintance talked about how many “immigrants” get jobs over “Canadians” and they shouldn’t allowed to be management (which my partner is). My partner reaches across the table and goes “Hi, immigrant here!” and she goes “Oh I didn’t mean immigrants like you…” And you can so tell they just mean “brown people” or “Asian people” but they pretend it’s about jobs and shit.
That’s the same with my family. We were war immigrants from the soviet union and now live in Germany. Now the syrians are here because they also have war, and people keep asking me why I’m defending them so mercilessly. And when I tell them that my family (that is still alive) has gone through the same bullshit. But they insist that both scenarios are completely different. They’re not different, you’re just racist.
THEY’RE NOT DIFFERENT. YOU’RE JUST RACIST.

The Radio Lab piece includes excerpts from an episode of This is Your Life when Blanc’s doctor tried to explain how he revived his patient.

Radio Lab features another neurologist’s opinion: Blanc was such a hard-working professional that his characters lived, protected from the brain injury, deep in his unconscious mind. The doctor’s question must have sounded like a director’s cue. Essentially, “Mr. Blanc, you’re on.””
