• Showed Freddie breaking gender roles and wearing clothes that were for women
• Showed his (soon-to-be) girlfriend put eyeliner on him and not ridicule him
• Used the word bisexuality in a positive way
• Showed an accurate portrayal of how someone would react during that time (and even now) in regards to coming out as bisexual
• Showed an accurate portrayal of the hurt someone would feel after being told someone else knows their sexuality better (Freddie crying after she leaves)
• Showing that two people can still be friends and not emotionally hurt each other after a breakup
• Showed a bisexual person in both same and opposite gender relationships
• Jim going off because Freddie touched him without permission and Freddie instantly apologizing
• Had some phucking great bops
