This is the first time I’ve drawn the bad friends trio all together – it’s kind of surprising, considering that they’re my favorite group. I wanted it to look like a spontaneous snapshot at a party.

I was so confused by France’s hair in the Birz strips, so it was nice to find the change explained in the volume 5 character booklet thing. I do like having his hair part more to one side rather than centered… Also it feels like Himaruya is drawing it super glossy and a bit longer now (England must be scowling with envy, ha).
