What did Eli look like as an itty bitty? Was he always head first in a book or maybe itty bitty science kit?

So he was mostly in and out of the hospital when he was a kid. There wasn’t a lot to do besides wait in sterile, uncomfortable rooms, and I think he often was quite bored.

On the occasions when he felt well enough to get out of bed, he would immediately find the old keyboard his mom brought with her from Germany, a relic from the 80s, and play around with it, trying out melodies and sounds.
