I haven’t logged on tumblr in ages and just did so for the first time in over a year now to see if any of my posts got flagged. It seems as though a giant migration is about to occur based on what I’ve been seeing on Twitter. I’m sad to see that the changes are hurting so many artists and killing a major platform for those who made a living off their work here. Ive been distant from tumblr but the fact that I still have such a huge following here and it’s about to get launched into the sun is upsetting.

The new TOS update Tumblr is pushing that’s popping up on everyone’s dash is not allowing NSFW gifs and actual pornography to be posted. But it’s not dropping the ban hammer on fandom related NSFW content.
tumblr banning only “female-presenting nipples” is the sort of pseudo-progressive move that verges on satire
“tumblr is a hip and progressive company hooked into Queer Youth Culture and Modern Feminism and 50% of nipples are a sin and isn’t it cool how gender is, like, a spectrum?”
On the early morning of december 17th im going to post the peanut butter baby, an image rich in skin tone pixels, like 50 times in a row, and get banned
